Description: This striking Mid-Century Modern ceramic table lamp was crafted by Søholm in Denmark during the 1960s. The sculptural glazed base features hand-applied vertical patterns in white over matte black, set atop a subtly flared painted wood base for added contrast and presence. Topped with a brand new custom linen shade and newly rewired for modern use, it offers both timeless beauty and everyday functionality. Its bold form and graphic detailing make it an ideal accent for minimalist, Danish, or eclectic interiors. A signed original that reflects the earthy sophistication of Scandinavian studio ceramics. Fun Historical Fact: Søholm Pottery was founded on the Danish island of Bornholm in 1835 and remained one of Denmark’s most respected ceramic makers until it closed in 1996.
