Behind the Restoration
At Vintage Supply Store, we offer a carefully curated selection of furniture and art pieces. Some of our items have been restored to bring back their splendor, while others are presented in their original condition, preserving the unique charm of the passage of time.
At Vintage Supply, we don’t just deal with furniture; we curate pieces that transform spaces and captivate the senses. Every item in our store reflects an unwavering commitment to quality and design.
Each restored piece is a unique masterpiece that speaks for itself: a sideboard that now dazzles with renewed charm, a table that blends elegance and functionality, or a chair that invites you to savor every moment. Every detail is crafted to ensure our pieces not only decorate but also tell their own story of transformation.
Our restoration process starts with one simple principle: respect. We honor the essence of every piece and work with dedication to enhance its beauty. We sand carefully, repair with precision, and finish with love, ensuring every detail reflects quality and authenticity.

Our passion for design has led us to perfect efficient and detailed restoration techniques that reflect our commitment to quality and timeless aesthetics. Today, we share with you our meticulous refinishing and upholstery process!
How do we plan our work?
Every piece is unique, so we determine the restoration process based on its design, physical condition, and specific characteristics such as age, rarity, durability, and overall state.
Our process includes:
Removing the existing finish.
Completely dismantling the piece.
Hand-sanding each part.
Chemically treating the wood.
Repairing dents and deep scratches.
Applying a sanding sealer.
Reassembling the piece if needed.
Lastly, inspecting the finished piece for functionality and durability.
Upholstering, if needed.
How do we do it?
We first inspect the furniture for alterations or missing original elements. The old stain is stripped, the wood is treated to correct imperfections, and loose joints are reinforced to ensure stability.
We sand each part manually or with machinery and carefully choose the appropriate stain based on the wood species, applying it in layers to highlight the natural grain.
Finally, we protect the finish with a matte or satin lacquer coat, ensuring a perfect balance between functionality and elegance.
What materials do we use?
We carefully select materials suited to each piece’s design and condition, ensuring that your furniture remains distinctive, comfortable, and durable over time.
Our focus is on extending the life of your furniture, allowing you to enjoy its natural beauty in your home or workspace for many years to come.
