Description: This beautifully restored Mid-Century Modern trunk cabinet by Lane features a walnut exterior paired with a fully cedar-lined interior, offering both timeless style and natural protection for stored items. Its sleek profile includes four functional drawers below and a spacious top compartment with the original sliding tray, all crafted with Lane’s signature precision. The cabinet opens smoothly, showing off the aromatic cedar that Lane was famously known for throughout the 1960s. Subtle tapered legs and minimalist walnut pulls complete the elegant, modern silhouette. Expertly refinished, the piece presents beautifully, though the top compartment does not lock.
Fun Historical Fact: Lane Furniture became a household name in the 20th century thanks to their cedar trunks, which were so popular that many American families gifted them to daughters. Their advertising campaigns were iconic, including a famous nationwide program where high-school girls received miniature Lane trunks as graduation gifts.
