Description: This sculptural table lamp strikes an architectural pose with its twisted, ribbon-like form that rises in a graceful spiral. One side reveals polished brass that catches the light, while the opposite surface features a faux-stone glazed finish that mimics ceramic or marble over metal—an unusually rare combination that gives the piece a dual-material presence. The flowing silhouette feels both modern and organic, almost like a mid-century interpretation of movement frozen in time. Paired with a new custom linen shade, the lamp glows softly and emphasizes the curves and shadows of its twisting base. It’s a statement piece that reads like art as much as illumination.
Fun Historical Fact: During the 1960s and 1970s, lighting designers began experimenting with hybrid finishes to mimic luxury materials without the weight or cost of stone or ceramic.
