Fun Historical Fact

The Greek key, also known as the meander, is an ancient geometric motif defined by a continuous pattern of interlocking right angles. It appeared extensively in ancient Greek architecture, pottery, and decorative arts. Mid-century designers often reinterpreted classical motifs in streamlined forms suited to modern interiors. Here, the Greek key adds a historic decorative reference while maintaining the strong geometry of Mid Century Modern design.
